FAL Shipping

1991 was the year when FAL Shipping was born. This company is the proud owner and operator of twenty-one tanker vessels, ranging from 1,000DWT up to 125,000DWT. The impressive fleet also includes barges, tug boats, service boats of about 700 to 3,000 HP for its bunkering and service operations.

At the Sharjah Port , FAL Shipping also has workshops to facilitate vessel maintenance and shore storage to keep the tanker trucks used to supply its products in the local market. FAL Shipping also charters vessels to assist while trading some of its products.

With the company's growth, FAL is progressively replenishing its fleet with new vessels which are in accordance with the most recent Marpol and IMO regulations.

Recently, FAL Shipping has added to its already impressive fleet, the M/T Splendour which has a Double Hull Panamax.

Four vessels already present in the Company fleet, M/T Jaguar V, M/T Sea Giant, M/T Sea Victory and M/T Milagro (to be renamed later), are in the course of being converted to Double Hull.

FAL has also signed a contract to build new tanker vessels in China , which are anticipated to be handed over in the year 2006.
